Prairie Dogs and Badlands

So Corey and I decided that we had to do some site-seeing on our way to Montana.  We found out that the Badlands were less than 1 mile from the main highway we were on in South Dakota.  We only drove 1 mile into the Badlands and stopped to see and feed the prairie dogs right outside of the Badlands.  The prairie dogs were so funny.  They actually bark and when they do their entire body, including the tail jump with each bark.  As of right know I cannot figure out how to post a video, so hopefully with some work I will figure it out! LOL!

This might be the fattest prairie dog in the business.  He has had several too many peanuts.  (unsalted peanuts is what we bought at the store to feed them)

This praire dog is sitting on top of his hole in the ground eating something, maybe a peanut?
That's Corey and Vanessa! :)

The prairie dogs really blend into their surroundings.
These are the beginning of the Badlands.

How beautiful is the sky with the spectacular ground formations?

That's Corey! Handsome, huh?

Vanessa went climbing on the badlands!

How this are formed amazes me!  Now you can read about it too!
 Our favorite picture.

Doesn't this picture look like the rock is flipping us off?! Haha! LOL!
